Colorado College forwards Cody Lampl and Derek Patrosso received
school-imposed suspensions regarding student conduct last week, coach
Scott Owens said Wednesday.

Lampl will not be allowed to attend CC until January 2009. He is
planning to appeal the ruling, he said.

Patrosso will be allowed to rejoin the team after March 12, at the end
of the school's sixth academic block.

The Tigers will be without as many as five players this weekend when
the second half of the season gets under way with a game Saturday
against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at the Lightning College
Hockey Classic in Tampa, Fla.

In practice Wednesday, defenseman Kris Fredheim and forward Eric
Walsky suffered right arm injuries and left practice for X-rays. Their
prognoses are unknown.

Center Chad Rau violated a team rule and received a one-game
suspension. He will rejoin the Tigers for Sunday's game against
either Notre Dame or Massachusetts.
