I've heard this before, and I think I understood it before, but what's
the problem with the Tuesday prelim game, again? The major problem I
can think of right now is that, for the winner of the prelim game,
there's not a lot of time to prepare before the tournament. So their
solution is to make that time even shorter. Very sensible, that.

If it's that there's not enough time to prepare before the Tueday
prelim game, at least BOTH teams have the same disadvantage instead of
one team getting a week's more rest.

Or if it's that it's inconvenient in the middle of the week, they moved
the game to Thursday, which is just as in the middle of the week as
Tuesday is.
