First off:

I totally agree with Carol, but I don't want the hats either.  The playing
surface is for the players, not the fans.  You try cutting on a fish scale
sometime at speed and see if you like it.

As I've said too often before:  the Harvard Men - Bowling Green NC$$
quarterfinal, game 1, at Bright was a stunner because Lane MacDonald was
faster than humans can be.  It was also Cleary hockey at its skate and
pass best (if anybody remembers real Harvard Hockey!).  That was a
fantastic evening.
 
Another game that was real close to this one was a match this year at the
Husky Invitational.  The Concordia Women and UNH played a brilliant match.
The tempo and skating edge of both teams was superior stuff, with
Concordia's sublime short passing game being the crunching difference.
Wish I was watching that game right now!
