Tiebreaker "c" includes "played a 4-game series" which raises the question,
what if they did not play a 4-game series?  I sent this question to the
WCHA office, but never received a reply.  Looks like they overlooked
tie-breaker wording when they expanded and each team dropped two 4 game
series to 2 games.
 
The Hockey East tiebreakers are ambiguous and out of date also, but for
the moment they are bailed out by the shootout and 3 games/opponent.
