Hello,

My staff has found if you take a picture of the bar code from your
library card, you can use the picture to scan your code. Since
everyone has their phone out so much, we were wondering if we could
use this as a way to check people out quicker than having them dig
around in their wallet or pocketbook for the actual card. The back of
the card would have to have their signature.
Is this something that anyone else has tried? Is it permissible
by MINERVA standards? Pros / cons.

Sue
