At Lithgow we sanitize keyboards, mice, etc. after each session using an electrostatic disinfectant spray gun (Victory brand). This creates a fine mist that bonds to the device without over-saturating. It's easy for staff to apply and requires no wipe down. When residue does eventually build up, we rotate out keyboards & mice for cleaning. Over a year of use with no problems.

Subject: [MELIBS-L] Question regarding public computer keyboards

Hello everyone! I was wondering if any libraries are purchasing special antimicrobial computer keyboards, or disposable/washable keyboard covers.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
