In a Wednesday evening game at the Soo (Norris), Sault Ste. Marie,
Lake Superior State University dominated the Michigan Technological
University Huskies 8-2. Michigan Tech scored first with a goal from
Brent Peterson (assisted by Pat Mikesh.) Five minutes later, LSSU scored
on a power play goal and never looked back. LSSU specialty teams scored
five power play goals and one short handed goal. During the first period,
MTU managed to get only 3 shots on goal. Freshman Luciano Caravaggio replace
Jamie Ram as goalie for MTU for the last period of play.
