I don't know those from other schools that have opted for the pros.
However Jim Hiller from N.M.U. (Scott Beattie has not even been
drafted) has sacrificed a year of hockey as well as a year of college
courses as he is now in Los Angeles. No details of the contract have
been released. He may see action as early as tonight (4/14) against
Vancouver. His decision to enter the pros was certainly on his mind
for a while now, since he was introduced with the seniors before the
final regular season game in Lakeview Arena.
