When I was a student there in the sixties, they had a club team that took a
bus to the Cincinnati area.  Seems it was actually somewhere in N. KY.  I
don't think that they begin D1 play until the rink opened.  It was named
after Lloyd Goggin, the university VP of Finance from Maine.  I believe that
Steve Cady was the first coach.  A trip to the CCHA history section might
