I plunked down $50 two years back on North Dakota at 12-1 at New York New
York which subsequently paid my entire Providence trip.

BTW...Ralphie spent all his money at the new Arena. His casino and
especially sportsbook definitely seem the worst looking in Las Vegas. For
example, the oddsmakers still write all scores, parlays and wagers by hand
on the white boards instead of electronic updates like all others.

Besides, it remains the only casino sportsbook I know that features two
smoking sections-- smoking and chain smoking.

As for the alumni(ae), they definitely come from all colleges, universities,
towns and cities to Vegas. They additionally will parlay anything in Vegas
tied to the Superbowl. Last year I won a bet that Kerry Collins and Trent
Dilfer would throw more intereceptions combined than the final score of the
Flyers Capitals matinee played on Super Bowl Sunday.

Moreover, the first set of College Hockey lines annually come from the
British and Off Shore oddsmakers before the Vegas lines jump in to the frey.
I still think that the Justice Department should file an antitrust inquiry
against all the books for a Sec. 2 antitrust violation for colusion on
betting lines. Just my $.02 rant.

I would guess the number of Cornell alums using their vacation time in
Vegas is on par with Harvard alums, RPI alums, St. Lawrence, or Clarkson
alums. While these four east coast hockey schools were represented, it
is quite odd the Cornell was not. Just an observation.
