To finish what my computer so rudely cut off, ther are some players
who come her not for the education but because:
1)they want to continue hockey after junior/midget levels and are not
good enough for the pros (half our team)
2)they have nothing better to do
3)are waiting for more money from the team that drafted them
ETC.
These are the players that take the easy classes and anger me that
for MY $25,000 a year tuition, they get free clothing, free equipment,
$200 a night hotel rooms on away games, etc. etc. These are also the
players who fall asleep in classes without the professor caring.
As for graduate students, there are always some on our time. This year,
its Mark McGeough. We have had as many as four grad students in one
year. I have yet to decide why they stay on the team...
