Maine's Tim Lovell scored 18:18 into the third period to tie the
score 4-4 as Maine and UMass-Lowell skated to a tie in overtime.
The Black Bears outshot the Chiefs 49-24 in front of the largest
UMass-Lowell crowd in five years. Wayne Conlan and Lee Saunders
were credited with assists on Lovell's goal.
Maine is now 11-14-2 overall, 6-9-2 in Hockey East, while UMass-
Lowell is 16-6-2 and 9-4-5.
