This morning's Schenectady Gazette reports that Union forwards Keith
Darby and Brad Kukko have quit the team. Darby, a junior, had not
played since the first game of the season against McGill. In his
career he had one goal and 5 assists. Darby said he was frustrated by
the lack of playing time, and did not want to continue the practice
schedule if he would not be getting playing time. Kukko, a sophomore,
had a goal and 3 assists in Union's first 3 games, but was demoted to
the fourth line after missing a scoring opportunity in the St.
Lawrence game. Kukko was not in the lineup for 4 of the last 5 games.
