The College Hockey Discussion List Poll for March 31, 1993:
Teams were given 15 points for a first-place vote, 14 for a second-place
vote, and so on down to 1 point for a fifteenth-place vote. Total first-
place votes are in parentheses.
Big Surprise department: The Phinal Phour teams (Maine, Michigan, Boston
University, and Lake Superior) took the top four positions in this week's
HOCKEY-L poll as well. In fact, of the 8 x 4 = 32 first- through fourth-
place votes that were sent in this week, 30 went to the Phinal Phour teams.
The other two, both fourth-place votes, went to Miami.
It doesn't make much of a difference now, but a couple of the teams that
were "on the bubble" and wound up not making the tournament have improved
their lot -- at least according to the HOCKEY-L voters. Note that RPI has
jumped ahead of Brown and Michigan State is in front of Northern Michigan.
Some small consolation to Engineer and Spartan fans.

No East-West split this week, as we had only one Western voter. Also, no
media composite or Tadpoll, since there weren't any media polls. Also also,
the only rating I saw this week was CHODR, which means the Tad-rate wouldn't
be terribly interesting either...
