It would be nice if college hockey got more exposure in the New York
metro area, but methinks efforts would be best spent convincing teams
to form there (Columbia, Rutgers, Fordham...hell, that's just a start)
rather than dragging down moderate upstate and unknown New England
draws and letting them play in a cavernous/empty MSG.
I also think Hartford deserves a chance. It could turn out to be
a terrific future holiday tourny site for schools with large CT
alumni/student bases, which is what neutral-site shindigs such
as the Syracuse Invitational thrive on.
