There was a problem this morning with one of the UMS DNS servers in Orono
that caused slow DNS resolution for some users, as well as a failure of the
guest login portal. The issue with that server has been resolved and all
services, including guest wireless, are returned to normal operation. Note
that for any users who experienced a complete DNS outage during this
period, it may be necessary to adjust your device configuration to include
multiple DNS servers (multiple servers are provided automatically by our
DHCP service).
