Tonight at Goggin Arena on Miami's home turf, the Redskins bested the Spartans
2-1. Miami scored first at 16:38 in the first period on a power play. Andrew
Miller put it home with the kind assistance of Joe Cook and Kevyn Adams. Then
Michigan State scored at 4:45 in the second period. It was Walla from Harper
and Carter. Miami responded at 15:20 in the same period with a blast by Joe
Cook from Bobby Marshall. This victory brings Miami to 7-0-2 at home and gives
the Redskins a five point lead over the Michigan Wolverines who were idle in
the CCHA tonight.
