Well, let me have a look at my WCHA yearbook. Two players hold the WCHA
record of 9 points in a game, Tony Frasca of Colorado College (vs. Michigan
Tech, 2/1/52) and Bob Joyce of North Dakota (vs. Michigan Tech, 1/23/87).
I don't believe I've ever seen a shorthanded hat trick, but the
Yearbook informs me that Norm Cherrey of Wisconsin scored three
shorthanded goals against Minnesota-Duluth on 2/17/73.
