Sorry, Robb, but even according to the article you referenced, it is not
false ... if your phone system requires you to dial "9" to gain an outside
line.
 
While I agree that there is a tendency for people to forward bogus virus
warnings, something of this nature will help prevent (here comes the
obligatory hockey content) hockey budgets from being decimated by
unauthorized long distance phone calls.
