Did she mean hockey or soccer? If she was trying to mock
college hockey with a snide comment about the FIFA World Cup, then all
she did was mark herself as provincially ignorant. Even a non-fan has
to admit that the World Cup is the most significant sporting event on
the planet.
Likewise, after reading the Super Bowl vs March Madness debate
on Sports Byline, I don't see why we should care what these people
think of out sport.
