Looked it up on www.hobeynet.org . I was thinking the answer was going to be
something like 3 or 4, but I was surprised to see how often it has happened:
11 times in the award's 17-year history:
Neal Broten, Minnesota, 1981 (first award winner)
George McPhee, Bowling Green, 1982
Mark Fusco, Harvard, 1983
Tom Kurvers, Minnesota-Duluth, 1984
Bill Watson, Minnesota-Duluth, 1985
Tony Hrkac, North Dakota, 1987
Robb Stauber, Minnesota, 1988
Scott Pellerin, Maine, 1992
Paul Kariya, Maine, 1993
Chris Marinucci, Minnesota-Duluth, 1994
Brian Holzinger, Bowling Green, 1995
