The College Hockey Discussion List Poll for March 2, 1994:
Teams were given 15 points for a first-place vote, 14 for a second-place
vote, and so on down to 1 point for a fifteenth-place vote. Total first-
place votes are in parentheses.
Michigan retains the top spot, but the gap between the Wolverines and #2
Boston University has shrunk to a single point, thanks to Michigan's pair of
losses at Miami and BU's three wins, over Northeastern twice and New Hamp-
shire. The big sliders of the week were Michigan State and RPI, both of
whom had winless weeks and dropped four places each. The star of the week
was New Hampshire, which, on the strength of two wins over Mass Lowell,
returned to the HOCKEY-L poll (at #11) after a three-week absence.

Dropped out of Top 15: Brown (#15 last week)
Perhaps not surprisingly, Easterners and Westerners disagree on who the #1
team in the country is. The East gives the nod to Boston University, while
the West is sticking with Michigan. Pretty close the rest of the way,
although the Westerners like Brown over Northeastern for the 15th spot.
