One comment about your post, currently WCHA teams do not play all other
teams 4 times.  Each team has one other team that it plays at home and
not on the road, and one team that it plays on the road and not at home.
Perhaps, as I beleive I have suggested before, extending this type of
scheduling is an option that could be considered if the WCHA was to become
a larger conference and go to divisional play.
