More specifically, I think, the interlocking ND on the shoulder that is
essentially the same as the one Notre Dame uses, only in different colors
(green and black vs. navy blue and gold).

I'd be interested in anything definitive on who had it first and what
arrangement (if any) exists between the two schools as to the use of the
logo.
