The ACHA is for club teams, so NCAA Divisions don't apply. Therefore,
teams may happen to be in the same ACHA Division as their NCAA Division
would be, but not necessarily. Someone with a better ACHA background than
me could probably explain the differences between their divisions.

You're right, the NCAA D-II Championship is gone. When it was eliminated
(about 5 years ago - when the MAAC started and Bemidji and UAH moved up),
the ECAC started a D-II Championship for its remaining teams. I'm not
even sure if it still runs anymore.
