18064 seats available (before 1000 standing room)
-6092 seats sold to individuals on priority list
-3900 seats sold to general public
= 8072 (of undoubtable the best seats) or 45% of the seats kept for other
purposes

The story in the St. Paul Pioneer Press:
http://www.pioneerplanet.com/sports/spt_docs/97968.htm
says
About 12,000 of the seats at Xcel Energy Center were sold to the general public. The NCAA keeps about 2,000 for its corporate sponsors, coaches, schools and others; the local organizing committee gets a couple of thousand tickets; and each of the four competing schools gets 500 tickets.

But, of course, this doesn't add up. 6100 to priority applicants + 3900 to "general public allotment" = 10,000 which still leaves 2000 seats unaccounted for. Was there an allotment for Wild season ticket-holders?
