The President of Ferris State University recommended that the
Hockey programs be eliminated.
 
The group of people who were trying to save the program gave her
several recommendations and were in the process of receiving support
with pledged of nearly $500,000 over the next 10 years.  They also
gave her a 5 year plan to make the hockey progam self supporting.
 
She took all this information and stated that the community would
still support the ice arena even without the hockey programs.  She
believes that the money pledged will still come in (fat chance).
 
In the process, she has betrayed and used several large supporter
of the university.
 
The Board of Control meets this Saturday to make a final decision.
