LAURIUM'S RANGUS TO PLAY HOCKEY AT MICHIGAN TECH
Forward Comes To Tech After Spending Two Years in NAHL

Houghton, Mich. -- Forward Bob Rangus (Laurium, Mich.), who spent the
last two seasons with the Soo Indians of the North American Hockey
League in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., will attend and play hockey at
Michigan Tech this coming fall. The announcement came today from
Huskies' Head Coach Tim Watters.

Rangus, at 6-2 and 200 pounds, collected 15 goals and assisted on 17
others this past season enroute to being named to the NAHL All-Star
Team.

"Bob is a power forward with a good touch around the net," said
Watters, who will enter his fifth season behind the MTU bench in
2000-01.

Rangus joins Justin Brown, Brett Engelhardt, Ryan Lenton, Colin
Murphy, Bryan Perez, Jon Pittis, Wayne Russell, John Snowden, and
Frank Werner as Michigan Tech's Class of 2004.
