GOPHER WOMEN'S HOCKEY TO SERVE AS CELEBRITY GRAND MARSHALS OF GRAND OLD DAYS
PARADE

The Gopher Women's Hockey team, winners of this year's American Women's College
Hockey Alliance National Championship, will serve as celebrity grand marshals
for this year's Grand Old Day parade, Sunday, June 4, in St. Paul.

Grand Old Days, sponsored by the Grand Avenue Business Association, is the
largest one-day street festival in the Midwest. This year's parade is the 27th
annual and gets underway at 10:30 a.m. The parade route follows Grand Avenue
from Dale Street to Fairview Avenue.

Following the parade, the players will be available for autographs at the KFAN
Sports Area, located near Grand and Snelling Avenues.
