A USA TODAY article called it a "slap shot to the gut," when speaking about
losing a generation of super star sports endorsers like Gretzky. Evidently,
the phenomena of sports heroes is a "dated concept," according to Reebok.
Reebok has been "dumping their top-paid athletes" for more amateur efforts
like the under 14 girls soccer team that competes in the Nike International
Premier Cup and a new women's over 30 hockey league.

Thought that would furrow your foreheads.

P.S. BTW, their logic is.. it would cost them "next to nothing to dominate
the entire sport."

How do you feel about Krog on a Gatorade bottle?
