Sheesh, I shoulda gone to tonight's game instead of last night's....where to
begin...

It was 1-0 Niagara when I got home from work with under 10 minutes left in
the 3rd. Allan Carr got behind the defense and scored on a partial breakaway
on the power play to tie it up at 1. A couple minutes later Reynolds broke
free ona partial breakaway, Gardner made the save, but Glover got the
rebound and knocked it in for goal #2. About a minute later, Cavan or Cupp,
not sure which, got his own rebound and knocked it in while getting knocked
down himself, and it was 3-1.

This marks the first time this year UNO has come from behind to win a game.
They're now 1-13-0 when the opponent scores first, and improve to 6-21-0 on
the year. and all 6 wins have come at home, with 5 coming on the second game
of the series (only Friday win was the first half of the Air Force sweep).

No comment on the reffing since I missed 5/6 of the game. Wish I could,
because I'd like to know if Shegos had a better night tonight than last night.

Jeff Hoggan absolutly leveled a Niagara player cleanly. It reminded me of
the hit where Lindros got a concussion last year. Clean shoulder to chest,
not even Shegos could find anything wrong with it. I'm not sure the Niagara
player even saw him coming.

Niagara still wins the season series 1-3-0. Up next for UNO is a 2 game set
with Manitoba. UNO's final home series will be 2 weeks after that against
Bemidji St. on Thursday and Friday. Hopefully they'll be a big crowd for the
Friday Bemidji game, as it will be the first Senior Night in the short
franchise history.
