I was not there, as I was tending to family matters in Atlanta (where people
are really looking forward to a new NHL franchise), but I do have a box score
from Sunday's Boston Globe:
RPI (0-1) 0 0 0 - 0
BU (1-0) 2 3 1 - 6
1. BU, Tommi Degerman (Chris Drury, Mike Sylvia) 5:49
2. BU, Mike Sylvia (Drury, Degerman) 9:45
3. BU, Peter Donatelli (Greg Quebec) 2:20
4. BU, Chris Drury (Degerman) 17:53
5. BU, Tom Poti (Nick Gillis, Bobby Hanson) 18:52
6. BU, Tom Poti (Unassisted ) 7:16
Saves: RPI, Joel Laing 20, Scott Prekaski 12
BU, Tom Noble 18
Note from my friend John who sits next to me in Section 10:
Drury's goal was a classic, as he faked out all five RPI skaters and the
goaltender. Hobey is his to lose.
Question: I am responding to this post as it was listed on HOCKEY-L.
Shouldn't box scores be posted on INFO HOCKEY-L?
