The Edmonton Journal, which normally has a paragraph at most on the Phinal
Phour gave it much more play this year because of the presence of Mike
Grier on the Oilers.  One funny anecdote was that Grier and some other
Oilers (on the road) were at a function where George Bush predicted a
Michigan win in the semis, gloating a bit that they would win easily.  The
catch was that Bush did not realize the game had already been played.
Grier did, and knew the result, but did not have the heart to correct the
former president which tells you a lot about both IMO.
