In the first two games, it's as if it was the regular season. If they
are tied after regulation, a 5-minute OT period is played. If one team
wins, they win. If they tie, they tie.
Remember - it's the first team that gets at least 3 points. Using your
example, if Union & RPI tie in the first two games, the third game is
played until someone wins, no matter how many OTs are played.
