In part from Steve Klein's post:

>Simply, I don't understand heckling.
>I think it's egotistical, pure and simple.
>Do hecklers REALLY think they make a difference in a game?
>Don't they realize they're simpling being bores?
>Isn't THE GAME enough of a thrill?
>Well, maybe not.
>It's such a great game.
>Why do some of us think we make THAT big a difference at a game beyond being
>a supportive home crowd?
>I've heard some of the hecklers; they could make a basketball fan out of me.
>They'd fit in with that crowd.

Gee, wonder what people would think if we substituted "hockey cheerleaders"
for "hecklers" I find hockey cheerleaders annoying -- they make the bands
keep quiet. At least I am entertained by music, it's considered an art
form.

BTW, how many D-1 schools have hockey cheerleaders ?

I DO have a fond spot in my heart for the LSSU cheerleaders, they stayed in
the same hotel as us at the Lake Placid Final Four. Nice kids.
