Well, tonights UND and Wisconsin was almost a carbon-copy of last night,
with the only major difference being the score. UND ended up outshooting
UW 36-14 after two periods (I don't know the final..but the ratio should
be similar) and the Sioux looked one step ahead of the Badgers.
Dabenspeque looked very sharp at the beginning, but appeared to become
frustrated towards the end of the game.
ETC comments:
UND aksed the fans to contribute money to the Patrick Roy funds.
Also, at the start of the game, the athletic director asked everyone to
show their support for Travis by cheering. He said the tape would be
sent to the family.
UND gave UW two breakaways due to careless defense. Kvalevog almost
stopped both of them, but the second one got
past him. UND also gave up one goal due to slopping clearing of the puck
in their zone.
Overall: If UND keeps up this play, the Sioux should be able to
end up in the top five. Also, I still think that Wisconsin's record is
not a good indicator of their team.
