In my post last night (A Freeze-Out Retrospective) I apparently slighted CCHA
Referee Shegos in two ways --
 
First, I misspelled his name (as Shevos instead of Shegos) and
 
Second, I was less than kind to him for his refusal to blow the puck dead
when players were trying to freeze it along the boards. I have now been duly
chastised and properly informed that he was doing exactly what a good ref
should do, since that's what college rules now call for. That's what I get
for mouthing off after being away from college hockey for 20+ years.
 
Mea culpa, and my apologies to Mr. Shevo.., er, Shegos!
