The recent discussion about college hockey and the WWW reminded me
that I read an article in The Sporting News last week that discussed
the fact that a Notre Dame hockey player, I think it is Jeff
Hasselman, was using the WWW in order to attempt to get a job playing
hockey in Europe.  I meant to bring the article into work but recycled
the paper by mistake.  It was the June 5 issue and the article appears
on page 4.  The article goes on to state that the player stumbled
across a page put out by the German league that mentioned
opportunities to play there.
