Some recent goalie stats of interest

NJ Devils Chris Terreri 1.99 GAA, 1-4-0 and 92.5% save average
Boston Br Blaine Lacher 1.99 GAA, 8-2-1 and 92.0%
Tampa Bay Daren Puppa (RPI!) 2.30 GAA, 7-7-2 and 91.1%
St Louis Joseph 2.66 GAA, 9-4-0 and 91.2%

There are a smattering of others who have very little playing time, and I
apologize if I missed any, having lost most connection with college hockey
between 1964 and 1990 .....

But four very good goalies out of 26 teams is not bad. And I think it
points out that when one of them makes it big in the NHL, we don't care
much about previous rivalries ..... heck, I'm sure the Mich fans just love
the fact that Lacher is doing well (well, maybe that's too strong, but
what the heck...) and it is good for the college game.

Just a few thoughts before we go back to the last weekend and more
arguments as to how wimpy the ECAC is!! No flames please ! :-)
