Denver vs. 1994 tournament field
Denver is 2-2-0 vs. Ohio State. All four games took place at the DU
Arena. The teams played a two-game series November 1973 and December
1983.

victories by a large margin, 16-3 and 17-0. In January 1981, DU won
its first game of the series, 5-0, and was just shy of a sweep losing
4-3 in overtime.
The Air Force/DU series has a bit more history to it with 19

Northeastern (4 of 6, 66.7%)... Chris Kenady is being considered a
Hobey Baker candidate by the awardUs selection committee... DU is

Injuries: Junior winger Brent Cary (Indianapolis, Ind.) sustained his
fifth injury in two years during a drill in practice Monday, Oct. 10.
He collided head-on with senior defenseman John McLean at mid-ice.
Cary was diagnosed with a fracture of the left side of his seventh
cervical vertebra by team physician Dr. Robert Loeffler. Cary is
expected to return in January.
Mike Corbett (Green Bay, Wis.) sustained a torn anterior
cruciate ligament in the right knee at 6:17 into the second period of
the Wisconsin game (Oct. 22). He underwent surgery Oct. 30 and will
miss the remainder of the U94-95 season.

Reviewing the Minnesota series (Dec. 10-11):
DU swept Minnesota on the road for the first time since November 1985
to climb two places in the WCHA standings. Not only did DU never trail
in either game but it took 2-0 leads in the first period.
On Satuday night, in DUUs 4-3 triumph, goaltender Jim Mullin
had a superb game stopping 33 of 36 shots and assisting on the
game-winning goal. John McLean, Angelo Ricci and Mike Naylor each
scored for the Pioneers.
On Sunday night, Sean Ortiz and Jason Elders helped DU to a
3-2 victory. Ortiz had two goals in the first 17 minutes. Minnesota
tied up the game with a goal in the second and third periods. Elders
notched the win with a goal with just 12 seconds remaining in
regulation.
DU kept the leagueUs power-play leader to 1 of 11 in
man-advantage opportunities.
