Maine-Notre Dame Notes
 
     Maine jumped on the board first, when Dan Shermerhorn   scored his sixth
goal of the season.  Jason Mansoff took an attempted clearing attempt, and shot
it at Notre Dame goalie Wade Salzman.  Shawn Wansborough took the rebound and p
ut it past Salzman.
 
     Notre Dame tied the game up in the third period.  Lyle Andrusiak scored hi
s third goal of the season.
 
     Shawn Wansborough scored the eventual game-winner halfway through the thir
d period.
 
     Maine improves to 9-0-3, and they are 5-0-3 in HE.  Notre Dame dropped to
3-9-0, and they are 1-8-0 in CCHA play.
 
     Boston University defeated Princeton 6-2 in the late game, so Maine will p
lay Boston University and Notre Dame will play Princeton in the Sunday games.
