The University of Wisconsin issued a press release Saturday announcing
that Kelly Fairchild and Jim Carey will not return for the 1994-95
season.
 
Carey signed a contract with the Washington Capitals, while Fairchild
has not yet signed with a team but has decided not to come back for
his senior season.
 
Sophomore Kirk Daubenspeck will step into the No. 1 goaltender
position. He played in six games as a freshman and posted a 2-2-0
record, 4.07 goals against average and an .880 saves percentage.
