What a year for Rob Hearn - Canisius College Graduate  !!!!!
Several years ago Rob approached me as a student here and
as a local AHAUS hockey referee he wanted to get some games
in the college level.  I submitted his name to the ECAC and
to the NCAA Ref. -in- chief.  Rob already had a good background
in officiating hockey but was being "held up" by local politics
and red tape.
 
Well what a difference a few years makes.  This year he officiated
a lot of games in D-I, he worked the ECAC championship, he worked
the NCAA final championship ( with Harry Ammian and made Harry look
good), and now I see he worked the World Championshipp Gold Medal
game yeaterday in Munich.  Way to go Rob - another Canisius
College Grad. does well.
