I think that if  you look at the college game, there are way more checking
from behind pentalties and you see this way more than in the NHL. Also take
off the mask you would see many more college hockey players either being hit
in the face like the pros a lot of them are inadvertant or the stick
probably would come down because the mentality of hey I can be hit in the
face now. I think it is the later.
