At the RPI Invitational, they made the announcement that Clarkson WILL
play in the RPI Invitational Tournament in December '92, which dissolved
the possibility of the SIT being at Clarkson in the new Cheel Campus
Center.

P.S. - Beth - The SIT Officials were looking for the location for the
tournament, and they asked Clarkson if they could hold it in Potsdam for the
year, seeing how Clarkson just happened to have the new arena.. :-)  Hence,
it was a Syracuse idea and not a Potsdam one... Clarkson probably refused so
they could go play in Troy.  They could hold hold the tournament in Potsdam
anyways, but like you said, wouldn't that be kinda weird?  But perhaps Clarkson
politics will amaze us...
