How good was sittler?  In my opinion, not too impressive.  At times it
seemed that the whole michiganteam lacked a work ethic last season, but
ryan seemed not to want to work from the very first time he stepped out
on michigan ice.  Maybe it could be because he had really high
expectations coming into the program, but many other players onthe team,
in terms of scoring, grit, and leadership, outperformed him.  It would be
especially nerve racking to see ryan as a puckhog -- often times he
wouldn't pass it off and ended up trapped in the opposing zoner with the
puck forcing a turnover.
 
When he played well, he played well, don't get me ewrong, but it wasn't
that often, in my opinion.
