The first period was pretty much even, with CC getting the only goal
of the period on a falcon defensive breakdown leaving a tiger wide
open in front.
 
The rest of the game wasn't even close as CC exploded for 5 goals in
the second and then scored 3 more while on cruise control in the
third.
 
The bad news of the night was the broken elbow suffered by falcon
winger john sullivan.
 
Mike benson, the falcon goaltender, had an outstanding game, and
really can't be faulted on any of the cc scores.  It's kinda hard to
defend a 3 on 0 in close.
 
The two teams go at it tomorrow at the broadmoor.
 
Karen Heasley of this list joined us during the first break for some
soda and conversation.  we visited some more between the second and
third periods.
