Clarkson finally played 60 minutes of hockey and stopped visiting
second place RPI, 3-1 in front of a mortuary-like 3204 fans.

Clarkson opened up the scoring when Brian Mueller skated down left
wing and was allowed to walk in and fired it by Neil Little on
the short side. Clarkson scored a powerplay goal in the second
to make it 2-0. On an RPI powerplay (where CU goalie Chris Rogles
got a penalty for slashing a guy who charged him), Rogles
made the initial save but an RPI player the rebound between his
legs. However, Clarkson rebounded later on a powerplay (I believe)
to make it 3-1. There was no scoring in the third period.

Rogles made 26 of 27 saves and played well while Little made 34 of
37 saves. Little made several impressive saves but looked very shaky
at times. On three separate occassions he came way out to try and
break up a play and nearly got burned... one went off the post. He
looked a bit shaky on some routine dump in shots.

Clarkson did not move up in the standings as SLU beat Union
and Brown beat Colgate. UVM and Princeton tied.
