I watched a bit of the Clarkson-Colgate game tonight on TV and noticed that
the Golden Knights were wearing their white normally-home uniforms at Starr
Rink, rather than the usual dark road ones. I'm assuming that's because
Colgate is unveiling their "third" uniforms this weekend, which are dark.
(Apparently, the Raiders will auction the uniforms off after this weekend
for charity) It was a tad confusing to see Clarkson in their home whites
in a hostile arena, and I'm thinking the Knights should have made it a
clean sweep and worn their own bilious-yellow third uniforms for this game.
(Sorry, Clarkson-ites, that color is NOT gold!)
If it's not obvious, I hate the whole third-uniform thing. I'm happy my
beloved Big Red has only two colors and thus can't have a third uniform.
At least, I hope not.
