the real kicker is for the last 2 home ice spots between WMU, UNO, and tOSU:

UNO wins tiebreakers with both WMU and tOSU based on head to head goal
differential - they only way they'll be tied at this point is with identical
records, so A) league wins will be the same, and UNO split with both teams so
B) Head-to-head is also a tie. C)However UNO wins the tOSU comparison with a
4-2 differential and the WMU comparison with a 10-9 comparison.

tOSU wins the tiebreaker with WMU by sweeping the head-to head meetings. Again
the only way they can tie is with identical records, so league wins is moot.

Amazingly, in the event of a 3-way tie for 5th, tOSU also wins based on
head-to-head records due to their sweep of WMU. tOSU would get 5th with a 3-1-0
record, UNO 6th with a 3-3-0 record, and WMU falls to 7th and loses home ice
with a 2-4-0 record.

So scenario wise -
WMU gets 2+ points versus Michigan:
WMU finishes 5th, UNO 6th, tOSU7th (UNO beats out tOSU either outright or via
tiebreaker depending what happens, but they finish ahead regardless)

WMU gets 1 point vs. Michigan, tOSU ties or loses to Miami:
UNO 5, WMU 6, tOSU 7

WMU gets 1 vs. Michigan, tOSU beats Miami:
tOSU 5, UNO 6, WMU 7 (via 3-way tiebreaker)

WMU gets swept by Michigan, tOSU wins or ties:
UNO 5, tOSU 6, WMU 7 (tOSU wins outright with a win or via tiebreaker with a
tie)

WMU gets swept by Michigan, tOSU loses:
UNO 5, WMU 6, tOSU 7

It seems odd that UNO finishes ahead of tOSU in all scenarios and wins the
individual tiebreaker with tOSU, except that in a 3 way tie, tOSU jumps from
7th to 5th while UNo would finish 6th. Also odd is that although both WMU and
tOSU can finish ahead of UNO, UNO is the only one of the 3 that has clinched
home ice, as they can finish no worth than 6th under any scenario.
